We'll be in Friday Morning at the Casino, then camped at race marker 34 Friday night. Shooting pics and video all along an area that leaves the Midway pits. Mile markers 25-34 and 87-97.

Hopefully with the rain it will keep the dust down well at least for a lap or two. Last year was really dusty with almost zero wind and it was miserable.

Hopefully the rain will keep the dust to a minimum this year so we can run hard and not worry too much about dust when chasing another car down.

Any locals know where I can get some test time on our Jeepspeed? We have been burning the midnight oil installing a Painless wiring engine management system, and we need to do some fine tuning of the system. Headed out with any luck tonight to try and get a spot in main pits, and would like to get some seat time Thursday somewhere.

That program really woke up the 4.0. Its amazing. We just don't want to send the bottom end out of the car.:D

Dan when you headed out? We are trying to pit near the Hay barn, but from what I am hearing its already a mess up there in the main pit.

Looks like I jinxed myself giving Djunkie a hard time. Truck broke down with the cramper on it and will be in the shop for at least a week. Jeff rented a car to get there and he and the boy will be shacking up with someone, but there is no room for all 4 of us. You all have a good time. :beer

I will post pictures of our Jeep in a little bit so you all know what to look for....Currie donated a lift kit...not sure what kind yet, but we get it back in about 3 hours. Not race material..more of a show jeep.

I'll give you a call tomorrow. We are leaving tomorrow morning to go pick the truck up in Hesperia and test a little in Barstow area for a quick shake down. We didn't prep the truck for this race the guys at C&D did.

I'm staying in Havasu Thursday night and Saturday night for sure but I'm not 100% yet about where I'm staying for Friday night. Might crash in a buddies trailer instead of making the trek from Havasu butt early on Saturday morning.
