The Denali I bought a year ago for $20K is worth half that much now, in fact I did the KBB thing on it right after I bought it, trade in value was $2500 more then I paid for it, trade value now is about $11K, wholly crap, if I were to trade it in now I would take a $9000 hit in less then a year. :mad:

my 07 Z71 is worth 12K at the dealer. Needless to say I paid about 10K more than you paid for your denali 18 months ago so we will be keeping it for a long time.:beer:eek:

This market will teach us to be a little more frugal and hang onto what we have.

Jay makes it difficult on me with all his smoking deals but it's a tough sell in the car business right now considering trucks/suv's depreciation.

btw...KBB said my trade in should be $500-1000 higher than what is being offered. Also Jay has always treated me extremely fair trade in wise and I imagine if I went to toyota they would offer me 8K.

I was looking at getting rid of the Denali because I really want to get back into a truck, the dealer offered me $10K for my SUV, I bought fell over, guess I'll have to drive it for a couple more years to offset the losses...
