Man they are working fast and furious on that! Do you think you'll have a boat ready for the LA boat show?
I'd love to see more pics as it progresses! I've always wondered how they build a plug from scratch.. You could give me a million dollars and the rest of my life and I couldn't make something like that.
RD
I would love to see more of how that process comes together!....nice pics!

Our 27 is 7'-4" or so to the top of the seats......top of the dash is 7'-2"ish on the trailer......
I hope that 32' isn't 10' tall on the trailer but with the windshield..I would bet it's over 8'-0" easy:confused:

Yeah I had our seats cut down even with the dash. It is right at 6'10. My door is only 7' and it fits under by about 2 inches. Your Zieman trailer may sit a bit higher than the Extreme. My other 27 was the same. I definitley think the 32 is easily over 8' tall. See you at the show.

You could always just give me the house and the garage or sell it to me for like $200 grand and then just build yourself a new one. :D
Seriously though, maybe a call to 619-443-1100 might be in order to get some info.

There is always option #2. Go jerry rig.... If you dont tow all too far, and you dont have any steep drops in which the trailer could scrape. Get some 40 series tires to take a few inches out. Then flip the axles on the top side of the springs to take a couple more inches out, and then drop the wheel wells and cut the bunks. Im sure with all that you can find a foot in there. Either that, or take your bags of money and build up the garage another couple feet! :D
While your out here stop by some of these truck customized places. Im sure one of them can figure a way to jank some c-notch system or put bags on it to slam the trailer while you park and then pump right back up when your outside the garage. :joke

Congrats on the garage, but you missed it with the height. Even if you could make the hole bigger, your ceiling height on 2500 sq ft is 9'. That is the problem.
For the low clearance doors, you still need 6" of height above the door opening for the door itself. Unless you can try to get really trick with it and get the garage to disappear in the attic or crawl space, you are going to need some lube to get it in there. Every boat that size is going to sit over 8' on the trailer, or at least every cat will due to how they sit on the trailer. My Magic was 9', maybe even 9' 2" if I remember correctly.
Get an engineer over there and get it figured out, I woudnl't cancel the baot because of this, just time to get innovative with the ceiling in there.

I don't know if I'd listen to this guy.....he's the guy that added in like two feet to his existing building so he could fit the new boat.......I'm never going in that building with the way he jerry rigged the added two feet in......and listen to him all...engineer this and engineer that....I don't remember him ever consulting an engineer :D:beer:D:D:D
