you know for about $100/day you can rent a pipe puller that will pull poly pipe anywher you want. All you have to do is dig for the conections. I always use poly from the main line to the head.

$100 a day? With money as tight as it is I can use the exercise and save the money. :thumbsup

Truth be told, if I had to do a sprinkler job, I'd rent a small track hoe.

the easiest thing you could've done was to get rid of all the old shit first, use a rototiller to get the soil ready, then dig your trenches for your sprinkler lines. that way you won't have any leftover grass/weeds/etc in the fresh dirt.:thumbsup

Ya I know but that really isn't gonna be that big of a deal. The lawn is pretty much all cleared off now so I can start tearing it up. I'm gonna rent a sodding machine this time though and make it a little easier on myself.

it's your yard ...

dont forget about the roller.

by the way, whats a sodding machine? do you mean a sod cutter? if that is what you mean, then i highly recommend it. it'll be worth the money spent.

clear plastic... put it over the grass and pin it down. Works like a green house, it will kill that grass dead fast.

Ya thats it. Now if I can only find a place around here that has them.

I hear what your saying too on the grass but really it doesn't matter that the grass is still in. I'm only putting fresh dirt back in the ditches. I made 2 different pile when I dug it up. One is old grass and the other is just dirt.

it seems as if in the third picture (last picture), there is a depression about mid-way. did you happen to make sure it was level before you laid the sod?

either way, looks good. water the shit out of it. right now is the perfect temp for it.
