Looking forward to it! You should be a moderator for this section so you can pin / sticky threads.. Lock them so no one else can post in them if you want to maintain an article style format. etc.. etc..

Ok ok ok!!! i know i know!!! you all want more pictures, I've been out of the shop for the last couple weeks, and haven't been doin any real custom work for the last month plus. Let me dig around through some of my old pictures to wet your taste buds ;)
As for the mandy, Carson is working on a engine for us, it's just been sitting for the time being, i need to start on a trailer, i've been working on getting the waterjet back up and running one of the pump bodies cracked and it took some time to isolate the problem, the crack was so fine it couldn't be picked up by wet-magging, finally got ahold of the right parts and they are on their way.
The rest of my downtime i've spent learning Solidworks for 3D parts modeling, I've always wanted to learn 3d cad and i'm not getting any younger so i figured the sooner the better. What a bitchin program, Dave do you have much experience with it, I eventually want to be able to build a complete off-road car in it from scratch.

I have a little experience with it.. I had it installed on my old lap top. Unfortunately I didn't spend as much time on it as I'd like too. I dunno if my new lap top will run solid works now that I'm running windows vista (memory hog).
I have one of the best solid works guys around though working here at the shop if you have any real in depth questions. Our head engineer (Dustin) is ridiculously familiar with it. Point in fact I think he used to work for the tech team over at solid works previous to working here.

Teasing you guys again :D I've spent the last couple days here at the shop with Dave Heffel and the guy from Dyno Dynamics, Dave bought a brand new twin retarder Eddy-Current chassis dyno and needed a place to run it out of, i had some extra room in our overflow building next door so they set it up in there, we spent Sunday and Monday running a few different cars on it testing it all and getting Dave familiar with the software. A new z06, Dave's 8.1 crew cab, and a turbo charged acura v-6 suspensions unlimited car. I get some pictures up when i get home tonight, and I'll post up the exclusive video on here first when we run Pat's (All Seasons Marine) 2-Stroke V-8 sand car on the Dyno.
Dave I'll take you up on your offer to pick your guys brain in solid works when I'm familiar enough with it to not be a total nuisance to him ;)

You got it, 4.0L (i'm pretty sure) evinrude outboard. The thing is the coolest sounding sand car ever, and it brings on the power pretty hard, especially for only ever having seat of the pants tuning.
