ended up with a 2007 chevy 2500hd cc 4x4 longbed diesel with allison tranny. i waited patiently for it. only had 23k miles on it. i lurked and lurked:D

Cool deal! New body or classic? If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for it? The reason I'm asking is I'm casually looking for a truck.

classic:thumbsup

28k cash

in my opinion, it is a small price to pay for peace of mind considerng it is still under full factory warranty. i plan on keeping this truck for a while

I think he sold it to a guy higher than I wanted to pay for it. Which is great for him! I'm really not in any hurry to buy a truck so I will wait for the perfect truck for the right deal.

No we have decided to keep it unless someone offers me real close to my asking price (which we all know isn't going to happen).

Looking for a used truck somewhere in the $15k-$18k range. I'm hoping to find a 1/2 ton crew cab short bed 4x4 05+ with low miles either a Chevy, GMC, or Nissan Titan and I might consider a Dodge if the deal was really good.

I missed the deal of the century on a Nissan Titan about 6-8 months ago but we just weren't ready to pull the trigger. It was an 05 with 26k miles, leveled in the front with Total Chaos arms and King shocks all the way around, full stereo system, brand new BFG A/T's on brand new ARE wheels, tonneau cover, brake controller for a trailer, and the whopper he had bought an extended warranty to 100k miles. I could have got it for $12,500 and it had a clean carfax and clean title too. DAMN that still kills me to think about. :grumble:

you never know ... my old truck and my wifes old truck sold near what our asking price was. we did price it to move though. i will keep an eye out for something similar to what you are looking for. what are things that you must have?

it sounds like the nissan was a nice truck
