Can someone explain why the Obama admin. has declassified and released the interigation techniques used on detainees?

i don't think Obama will go anywhere with this. all this is about is to make a bunch of noise to keep the media focused on this topic. right now it's just a bunch of talk and hearsay.

what worries me is what is going on that we do not yet know about, behind our backs while we get all in an uproar over this. So the "new open and transparent govt" under obama is just playing us like a bunch of foools.
