spay in liner?

Has anyone ever had or sparyed in a bed liner in their boat?
I'm thinkin it will be easyer to clean than carpet,last longer,maybe be more sound proof??

Not sure if it will stick to fiberglass.

Had a buddy do that about 6 years ago to an older bass boat (late 80's) with very oxidized gel coat. They cleaned it, sanded it (more to remove glue buildup from carpet) and it's stuck for years. Never gets cleaned unless it rains. The grey color has faded and looks like the gel coat now, but it has lasted. He didn't need carpet in that boat and it's worked well fro his purpose.
