Kachina

Hey my buddy is looking at a late 70's Kachina jet boat. The pics of this thing are awesome and the guy says its just as nice as the pics show. Has new motor and rebuilt pump. The question is how solid are the hulls on these boats? How do they compare to other hulls. Are they quality or should he stay away. I have heard of these things but I dont have any personal experience with them.
