Looking for 22 Schiada V-drive with family ski boat type interior. Not a race boat. New style deck (83 and up), not step deck old style please. Can buy outright or I have a nice newer Malibu wakeboard boat to trade if desired.

Thanks for the lead on the boat trader Schiada but saw that one and was not real excited about the brown inside and out. Not really wanting to do that much work changing all the gelcoat and interior colors. Otherwise, it's what I am looking for.

Hoping that this thread brings out some of the 22 Schiada's that are not listed for sale anywhere but owner is considering selling....

That one's too racey for use as a family work horse. I'd love to have it, but need a more family friendly version. Thanks anyway.

It actually has a full interior. The one pic is misleading. Check this thread.

I would be able to reconfigure the interior for more room. This would entail moving the back seat rearward, a short steering column. Move the pedals and drivers seat forward and lower the floor. It is in the works for Racey to complete the mods before summer. It is an EXCELLENT family ski boat.

That changes things. Would like to talk with you about this boat in the configuration you are describing. Would you be moving the motor back also or just squeezing the seat back into the motor as close as possible?

I would not recommend altering the motor position, the boat rides and handles as set up. No out drive 22 rides even close. I can move the back seat back 6 inches. The steering column is 16" long. Will reduce it to 6" and move the drivers seat 10" forward. The floor is raised to level throughout. It can be lowered except over the v-drive. The under deck flooring can be removed and open up a ton of space.

The boat sits 5 adults now, but leg room is limited, except for the driver.

I remember looking at this boat when I bought my 22. I really wish I would have purchased this one. If I remember the back seat can be pushed way back with a different seat and the drivers seat can go way forward. This thing rides 10 times better than my 22 road just because of the vdrive and engine configuration. Good deal whomever buys and I cannot wait to see what Racey does with it!
