Got mine, haven't signed yet. They layed out some new rules but who's going to enforce them? Rent going up $10 a month if you do auto pay, we'll sign up for that, easier then having to go to the office. Sad that the old crew, Kathy and group "retired" as soon as Swede past away, they had no choice, Bush and his posse pushed them out. New Management, new attitude, seen this before in corporate America, sometimes it works, most times they fall flat on their faces. How much of these changes are do to GREED???

Yeah, the passing of Swede was the catalyst for change. I hope the Fishers Management takes a clue from the wreckage that was Martinez. That place was a money machine and now it's a ghost town. You can now see vacancies in Pruitt and Lower Fishers due to the tightening of the economy and there is no real recovery on the horizon. Discretionary money a fraction of what it was in 2007. No bonus for me this year but I am glad to hang on to the job or I could be a full timer at the river...
I see escalating fees and a reduction in services.
I don't see the full timers at the bar, restaurant or at the gas dock. The weekenders are the economic drivers.
If we are overly saddled with expense and a lack of service or amenities then we could end up moving out, going south or camping in the land trust for $25 a year. None of these appeal to me because I really do love the river relaxation and all of the great people that make up Pruitt City.
I hope there is some revision to the rules. My friend is going to post up the proposed lease. I would like to take the time to read/understand the contract rather than show up and sign.....
Enjoy the Jeep trip...take some pixs.....
I love the river.....RT:outtahere:
