This is the 86 elimininator liberty i bought mid this year. Since i bought the boat ive move the seats back, made new brackets, new ski pole brackets, and a few other things. now that winter is here ive got a list of things i want to change.
where the cap meet the transom the fiberglass started to delamb so i will reglass that area and, all the glass tank straps were starting to fail.
also new
autometers, bezels, helm, ect
nav lights
re ano motor bracket
new carpet
modify side panels
redo most wiring
block sand transom and exposed stringers.

thanks, i ordered up all the glass ,resin and so on today. also ordered some poly foam to try and stiffin the deck a bit.

Looks like you have a good boat to spring board from. Good luck with all the work, let me know if you need any help (the stars may line up to where I can help one day). Are you gonna do any races with it?

yeah ill let you know as i go if i have any questions. im going to do all te glass work at Steve l shop so youll have to swing by and check it out. about racing it maybe in the f3 class. pulling steve.

yeah it should be fun to see him out there. i plan on being up there between xmas and new years. and doing the glass work and gel coating

made some progress, filled all the unused holes, fixed the cap with west systems and the micro ballons, the glassed from the inside. i opened all the holes for the angled bezels. and started sanding the transom and floors. will post some pics soon.

i did some glass work today i put the fuel tanks back in. and glassed them in with 4 and 6 inch fiberglass tape. the other pics are of the inside where the cap meets the transom.

made some more progress, new carpet done at eliminator came out great. Rigged, new gauges bezels, outboard hose, recoated bracket, added the 2 extra stand off see if i can gain any performance, fuel lines and so on. currently workin on building new seats.

Is the way you have the rear bench seat set up allow for the "back" portion to either hinge up or pull the clevis pins and remove it entirely?

yeah the seat part is one piece and the back rest is another, but the back rest hinges up or pull the pins and lift it out.
