Just made it home, and had to start uploading pics (forget unloading the truck, i have my priorities). I shot 1200+ pics over the 2 days and will be going thru and posting the good ones. Computer says 90 min still...

1st off, i have to give a HUGE thank you to the safety crews. These guys work awfully hard for not near enough praise, so thanks.:bowdown:

Next would be the Folks busting their butts behind the scenes. All of the planing, registering, etc is way over my head, yet this crew pulls it off, and make the races happen. :thumbsup:thumbsup

Then would be a tip of the hat to Sean Gettmann and Dave Allen for putting me in a ski (and suit, helmet, rope, etc) as well as dragging me around at break neck speeds.

My wife (the best in history) for going out, sitting in the sun and just being supportive. Same w/ my Parents, who drove 5 hours out to watch me race for under a half hour.

That said... lets start the show w/ the best shot i've seen of the weekend. This is Sean Gettmann Hanging it out during the mens marathon Saturday morning.

I screwed up the camera settings trying to get a blurry background w/ the lil gromlettes, and for the next few races, it was chaos. Here are the salvagable pics

Then they had the Biggest race of the weekend. NWSRA has been hyping this race like there's no tomorrow:rotflmao: It's Grassroots time!!!:D

Again, the Camera settings are set to allow the background to blur, and my Wife isn't as steady as needed to get the shot:grumble:;);)

Somehow NWSRA followed up their headline race w/ some old school, throwback Hands out front racing... My back hurts just looking at the pics:bash:

That's Brent Griffen. Not quite sure what he has under that, used to wear a full suit under it, with the red to comply with the "bright color" rule. I actually wore a bright yellow tank top over a suit that was not deemed to be bright enough years ago.

Brent floats as well as I do in a race suit, so he must have some flotation under it.

Oh and check out the Sushi Maker on the back of the 193 boat... DAMN!!!
