Looks good and glad to see someone is building a boat.
Question - Where did you get the trailer from? I want to change out the fenders on mine (paint to SS), so was wondering what shop you would recommend.

NICE!
Is that one of Jack McClure's fabricated transom adapters? If not, can you let me know who did it?
Thanks,
Chris

That thing is beautiful!!!
Couple of people wanted to know how the boat has been treating me. Just got back from Minnesota where it ran 87.3 on gps with about ten gallons of fuel and me in it. Altitude there was about 1350'. Some day I would like to get it to sea level and see if if would break 90.

You would be surprised what boat companies will build a boat for right now (especially going into winter) I'd call Big John D, and hit him up abuot it.

Anyone know if Ultra is still in business? Website appears to be down from what I can see. Wanted to buy some T-shirts...
And where did the molds for the 21' Stealth end up? Saw them for sale a while back. Great hull (have one myself) and bummed that I don't have the ability to buy a "new" one.

Just read this thread, I guess I missed it first time around
WOW 87 with a 22:thumbsup Nice job, I bet you can suprise a few
hot rod boats with this family boat:D
Thread came back to life for some reason. It was funny when I picked it up because Greg Shoemaker said wait till you run it. It will suprise the shit out of some 19 footers...Hell even some 18 footers.

I think I might have re-started this thread looking for John D...I guess he might be closed Mon...Tues....Wed? Is he ever open? Left a message for him earlier in the week. Just want a friggin Ultra T-Shirt if they still exist.
BTW Toon. Nice piece. I'm sitting here wondering how well my 21 Stealth would run with a drivetrain like that. Currently has the non-threatening 6.0 Vortec that keeps the wife and kids safe at 59 mph max. I know that Froggystyle's boat did 80 on the dot with the same bottom and a lot less under the hatch.
Hmmm...

Hmmm...
I don't know that it was that much less under the hatch... It was a pretty well built pump gas 509 Merlin that we suspected of running somewhere around 700+ hp. I also had WELL over 500# of stereo when you consider the four 6 volts, sub enclosure in the bow, two big amps, on board charger etc... plus two starting batteries.
I would say the numbers are pretty close to what we would have done without the batteries and with an extra hundred horsepower. Same bottom essentially, so no surprises.
Congrats on the awesome boat and great numbers out of a jet. Love it!

Can anybody tell me what the purpose of the transom adaptor is on this? I have the same dominator pump set up with the 2 piece transom plate behind a 502 chevy in my 22 Stealth. The whole silicone thing seems a little cheesy to me, so im guessing thats what the adaptor is for.:hmm
