well when I started this proscess my intentions were to put a motor in it and go . but thats not what happend one thing lead to another. and I found water leaking at the intake so started a complete rebuild , I love the hull and the lines of it so I tore it down. it has alot of nice rigging and stuff, I rebuilt the pump completely going through the motor ,have a tunnel with duel 660 carbs machine work will get 30 over KB pistons bearings and resticters new comp cam kit hoping for at least 400-425 hp if lucky .Its a full stringer hull .This project has become a long drawn out process with many visites to my boat shrink at JBP always feel so much better after an office visit. Tom and crew has been great sorce of informstion and parts and Josh knows his sh-t . Thank you guys at JBP. Opinions valued .

This hull was originally a Record 7. We sold a bare hull to Howard which he then splashed. Just an FYI for trivia. We also supplied him with the 24 ft Day Cruiser.
