Thanks ..... engine is STOCK. This car has
1. Dasa full exhaust
2. Dasa intake
3. MSD with Dasa ignition curve and Dasa fuel curve
4. Dasa billet overdrive cover

We have designed all of the bolt-on parts to get the most hp possible. We have been on the cutting edge of product development for the FI teryx since it came out.

RIGHT ON ...... i will have final dyno numbers on our 38mm throttle bodies very soon. I feel this will be a very killer bolt on combo.

1. Dasa pipes
2. MSD
3. Dasa 38mm throttle bodies
4. Dasa billet over drive cover
5. Dasa intake

I think the throttle bodeis will add 3hp across the board on this bolt on build. i know they add almost 7 hp on 840 builds i have done.

whats the latest on the 900+ kit?

I was working on a 1000, but just no time with all the suspension testing i have been doing.

and welcome steve!

Thanks .... no i just need to get a new effen boat.

YUP ..... the spring rate is too soft in the back. We have now gone to a stiffer spring with less pre-load. This will speed up the rebound and help it from bottoming. WE ARE DONE WITH OUR SINGLE RATE COMBOS. Now we have an INSANE dual rate setup. I will have a new video very soon.

Thanks ..... dual rate is a pain to get right, but once the crossovers are setup correctly and the spring rates are correct it is UNBEATABLE.

I was thinking the same thing. Had the same problem on the Rhino. Went up a spring rate and it solved the packing problem but road a little harsher. Always a little trade-off right.....oh wait that's what dual rates are for :)

Good luck with the kit. Looks like it runs well and I am impressed with how well it appears to turn. I've ridden in a few Kawi's with LT and they all seemed to push bad, LTI's was the only so far that I felt turned well and soaked up the bumps too. It looks like got the handling dailed in and it looks like the motor runs real strong. I thought for sure you were going to say 840 kit in that thing, I am really impressed with just bolt on parts.

It's video's like this that get me thinking SxS again:rolleyes:

EXACTLY ... and now that we have the single rate figured out its all math to get the dual rate setup. We have the combo on the car now and will be testing it next weekend. It is butter on the top and still firm at bottom.

Looks like it runs well and I am impressed with how well it appears to turn.

We checked caster numbers on most of the kits on the market. Then made our adjustable to test. We have the PERFECT castor in the car now. Plus we do something NONE of the other kits on the market do. This helps the steering and balace of the car BIG TIME.

I thought for sure you were going to say 840 kit in that thing, I am really impressed with just bolt on parts.

Thanks ...... and wait till i get our 38mm throttle bodies and new intake on it. This stock engine will get even more HP. Our 38mm throttle bodies are good for 7 hp at the rear wheels on 840 builds.

Dual rates are the new deal these days.
We're checking out Makin' Trax line.

With everyone getting big air and hitting the whoops at insane speeds dual rates are essential on SxS's.

Second generation SxS's are rumored introductions by fall from all the builders, Yami, Kawai, Polaris, and strong talk on all the boards Bombardier.

The industry guys that have been accurate in their takes in the past on the SxS boards predict the MFG's are waiting on the Bombardier, to benchmark their next intros to one-up them.

It's a whole new world of offroading just now blooming.

I wager Kawai will be the dark horse and introduce some real competitive machines.

You're absolutely right about not wanting to break down.. LOL

I took my T-Rex to the Desert bar last weekend and we took the offroad way home. We got lost and I literally had to up on a mountain and take a look around to see how to get back.. :D I should mention we were out there alone and all I could think about was "I hope this thing doesn't get a flat, or break down on me right now, because I'm screwed if it does."

:blah::blah::blah:........just get Kyle to get my motor done. :D Just playing with ya. Id dig on having you all do a 1000cc kit in my Teryx. Would be a BLAST! Might be able to hang with the Gayzors.

HEY....on that note. What does it cost to get the clutch hat and stuff done? I could drop off my car with Brians Jetski trailer. I hear the clutch work is the best money spent.

My car with clutch , pipes and msd will beat the gayzor NO PROBLEM.

Clutch kit is $325.00 plus $145.00 for the billet overdrive cover. You will also need the MSD controller to see the gains. Your 2009 will do about 60 MPH with those mods.

I am not at the riverside location. i am in San Diego and do all my work out of San Diego.

I have the muzzy's on my 2009 T-Rex, and the MSD. I'm running a map that you sent me, and my best on the street is about 58 mph.. In a little more then a 1/8 mile drag on dirt I get around 53 - 54

It seems like it's not pulling as hard as it used too. I figured I'd take it over to the pro shop and have them dyno it. I had an "incident" when I first bought it, and I'm wondering if it's catching up with me now (air fiter fell off, while following someone else, and i"m not sure how long it was off for.. not much dust in the intake tract though)

How big of a difference does this clutch and over drive make?

incidentally, I Drag raced TobTek's T-Rex.. He's got the whole 4 seater setup, stereo, (much heavier pkg) etc.. etc.. His motor is brick stock to my knowledge except for an intake, but he does have a much larger diameter rim / tire pkg.

Mine with muzzy's / MSD, no airbox,

We ended up pretty much even, if nothing else giving the nod slightly to him. I'm thinking I went grossly wrong here somewhere..

Any ideas?

I think tune is wrong RD. When Brandon and I took off in it it was backfiring and running out of steam on the big end. Let the pro shop dyno tune it.

I dont have a map for Muzzy pipes .... only Dasa pipes. Although my map should be close i am sure it could be tuned better if you are just runnign a map i sent you.

How big of a difference does this clutch and over drive make?

The overdrive cover will not hurt bottom or mid .... it will just give you more top speed. With your mods AND A COORECT TUNE you will see 62 - 65 MPH.

If your car goes 58 and he does not have an MSD then his car will only go 50. So he MUST have an MSD or some way to get past the speed/rev limiter on his car. Your car with pipes and a correct tune shoudl beat his car by about 1 car length or more. you need to get the car tuned correctly then get the billet over drive cover on there. That is a great combo that runs hard.
