Just a suggestion since you're shakin down a new to you boat. I would go to Elsinore and launch at Marina West. The wind at Silverwood can be a bitch, and the protected cove/marina at Marina West will allow you to idle the boat, check for leaks, etc. in a calm environment even if Elsinore is blown out.
