Here are some pics of a ranger I am currently working on.. I have a ton of photos so if there is something specific you want to see just let me know. The suspension components were purchased by the trucks owner, they are made by Threat Motorsports. Engine is an LS-1 and 4L60e trans.

Looks good man! Do you know what headers those are? I have an LS1 in my ranger and couldn't find any headers that would fit. Ended up making some that run outside the frame rails but I have a couple leaks and wouldn't wind running the exhaust inside the frame...

One of these days I need to save up some money and have a shop rebuild my truck... The difference between a real shop and backyard fab is night and day...

the headers are a rear-exit universal set made by Doug Thorley. Very nice quality-heavy tubing and flanges. Notice the frame had to be notched to make it all fit-once the cage work is done the frame notch will have no effect on the strength overall.

Yeah, I saw that, also looks like you mounted the motor pretty far back, should be nice. Keep posting pics

Nice build Ken. Should post this on Race-Dezert.com haha.

Im going to have to stop by the shop this coming weekend.

Cambell Carl told me you were on RDs now.

Glad to see that you are able to stay busy in Parker.

By the way, its Katch, Armen's son in law.

Are you going to keep the I-beam mounts bolted to the frame or are you going to weld them on? Im not too sure I would feel all that great running that truck with an LS-1 in it and the speed it would be able to reach with those just bolted in there. Just my thoughts at least. Otherwise, looks really nice!

I will post some updated pics tomorrow- in response to your question,
and I quote from the fabricators bible, "Oh Ye who lack faith in .500 bolts, lets us put 8 where 4 should be" ...you would be amazed what a half inch bolt will do-So what size bolt (BOLT, as in 1, not BOLTS, as in multiples) support the COILOVER SHOCKS in most trucks? Yup, 1, yes 1, 1/2 inch bolt. That being said with MUCH SARCASM, not ego,(in the above statement, here comes the reality) the only aspect of the bolt on beam mount that would worry me is the stock frame itself. That being said, I will include some pics of the areas of the frame I have doubled with 4130 plate. In further response, If I were to weld the plates on, It would include a "rosette" weld, that duplicates the placement of a bolt, in about the same points as the bolts themselves.
I hope this makes sense, in the end, I will never build anything I would not drive myself-
