I need a hook up with someone to do my floor, glass in my tanks, place some wood in the transom area, glass in some stringers with a keel board, and fill the holes in my dash and other areas. I live in AZ. and I will drive as far as BHC to get work done. The gel coat will be done in Hesperia? Anyone got someone in mind? Parker, Havasu, Needles, Bull Head? It sucks being new to this area and not knowing who to trust, so far there has not been a boat shop with a decent name around this area. Again this will be a slow build I just want it done right the first time. 1976 Spectra 20

Everyone thanks for the heads up with the guy I had in mind to do the work.

This isn't a classified, so I'm going to move it to the Spectra section...

That being said, for everything you listed, it's gonna be a shit ton of money and a normal shop, paying a normal shop rate... You might be able to work a deal with a shop where they can use it as filler work?

Where abouts are you located?

Some of this stuff I"m sure you can do yourself.. Myself and Forensic built a 3/4 inch marine grade plywood floor for his Spectra, and it was easy. A little time consuming, but nothing I would pay someone else 1000 bucks to do for me.

I agree, doing things yourself can save money. The one thing I can't buy is time. For me it was cheaper to have someone else cut out the old floor and install the new one. At the same time I had the old glass tanks cut out and thrown away, new bulkheads installed, some stringer work, etc. Had I tried to do it all myself it would have taken months and prevented me from being out on the water. Ultimately, for me, that's worth paying for.
