Bought him from a breeder in the Keys 8 years ago. He had cancer and it was time.

Man I miss him...

Sorry to hear that , B! Even though that dog was missin a few screws. I remember when all of us hung out in the pool when the monsoons rolled through ans if you swam by the dog, he'd jump on you. LOL

Like most everything else, he thought the pool was 'his' too.. Besides, he wanted your beer...

Sorry to hear about that. It's amazing how animals can become part of the family.
I went through the same thin 7 years ago and still miss him.

We bought at Easter for the twins. He's getting super big.

That boy has some big shoes to follow. Took him out this afternoon, he wanted to bite Barleys leash (like he always has). Ran him up the hill. Barley's footprints... Ran him to the top where they hang out and play - pup just sits down and stairs at me...

Oooof.

Sorry to read about your loss! It's as bad as losing a family member.:( Just NEVER expect your new pup to fill your old boys shoes (paws). I did that with my old golden and it ruined my relationship with a new one...not his fault he wasn't a "good" as 'Au' (pronounced just the way it is on the Periodic Table of the Elements...stands for Gold!

I've got some pretty good friends. I sent the stuff below out and we all joked about it. I got a bunch of call, emails + text today. Couldn't talk for a while, so a bunch stopped by. ..

Nice surprise, the wife and I are going to the Eagles tomorrow night with all of them. Wow. Going hunting with a bunch of them this weekend. It's gonna hurt watching Cam's lab go nuts.

Man I miss that dog...

1. When you are sad -- I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against

The sorry bastard who made you sad.

2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile -- I will know you are plotting something that I must be involved in.

4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it every chance I get.

5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.

6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.

7. When you are sick -- Stay the hell away from me until you are well

again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall -- I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.

9. This is my oath.... I pledge it to the end. "Why?" you may ask;

"because you are my friend".

Speaking of missing screws. How is Cam, I haven't seen that boy in a while..... Tell him I said what's up?

Headed up to his Mammoth place this weekend. Cam's doing real well. Nutty as ever... I'll let him know.:)
