I came across a orange 24 Schiada a few years ago that was a v-drive. Did they not make many of them that way?

How did they handle the power? Were they sluggish? Did they wander from side to side (chine walk)?

7 have/had twin turbo bbc's 1 had a blown bbc. I have ridden in 3 of these boats and none of them chine walked at speed. They love big power. The v-drive boats or a 6 drive(None with a 6 drive to date) are the only way to manage big power(800+).
The bulk of these boats run in the high 70s low 80s.
Three have basically the same motror(Brummett tt fi).One is under construction, one is an older 24 project(Andy) with a pad bottom and the last one is the SR22. These should all run 100+.(One runs closer to 120)
I dont know of any outive boats that run 100, maybe some of the 24 owners on this site can chime in!

A44 "La Dolce Vida" (the sweet life) 24' V-Drive (white and teal) was a Teague blown motor back when I worked on that boat at Schiada. So I know of at least Two that are Blown and not Turbo'ed. It was a full keel boat also.

This is the same boat that Nesen built, sold to Brian Adler and then to Tom Bruttig who has it now...It is in terrible shape, left outside and needs a lot of work...

Dude you're kidding right. The SR22 is a 24' Schiada... The deck and bottom are the same as any other 24' Schiada. The boat was originally built to cheat the ski race length limits at lake Arrowhead which is limited to 22'. Hence the name SR22. As stated in some of the other threads about the one and only SR22 the entry is shallow, but that is an insert in the mold and it is not the only 24' built with the insert.
Now back to the topic...
This thread is about a beautiful 24' outdrive Schiada for sale not the SR22. If you want to stroke Linder more about his beautiful boat start another thread....

No maroon in that boat,, purple and white. I drove it once at slower speeds, supposed to be pretty fast but I suppose only Corey knows how fast, Terry is a cruiser. 600 cu in turbo engine.

I can appreciate that, but really without a price it might just be a waste of time for both. If we call can we get a price.
