Military evacuees living in TENTS???

What the fock, I just heard that military families from Camp Pendleton are living in tents at the amphibious base, this is total bullshitt!!!

Get these people in hotels with the respect they deserve, where if Feinstein when we need her!!!:swear

Every Hotel in San Diego has been Booked Solid Since Monday, well before the Camp Pendelton Fire even started... It's hard to find a room when 500,000 People have already been evacuated.. I hope tomorrow will bring better weather, and allow the Firefighters to get some control over these fires..

As of this morning there is NO FIRES within San Diego city limits. I'd be surprised if they have any trouble finding hotels now?

I brought a 50 man platoon from Riverside County. We had to go back home Monday night, and went back Tuesday - slept on the floor or in our cars...the fire depts took all the hotels in Fallbrook where we were assigned...finally found a place to stay for some of the guys Wednesday night.
