Boat Blew up in Long Beach

Was just on the news that a 30' boat exploded in Long Beach, tried to find info but nothing yet.

2 Injured in Long Beach Boat ExplosionOfficials Investigating Cause
LONG BEACH, Oct. 29, 2007 (CNS) - Two people have been injured in an explosion involving a boat in the Long Beach Harbor, according to the Long Beach Fire Department.
The explosion happened near Pier C, Berth 55, in the Long Beach Harbor, according to officials.

The victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition, says Long Beach Fire Department Capt. Mike DuRee.

The cause of the explosion was under investigation.

Used to happen all the time in Avalon. Especially at the fuel barge.
Usually the blower would have prevented it.

Sometimes in-ebreated people fueling with their own fuel cans to avoid the $4.99/$5.50 per gal gas dock sting, or some dope put the fuel into the bildge breather vent tubes instead of the fuel tank fill.
