Next items are some heat exchangers. I have 2 sizes available.

#1 -All are new, some were installed into production machines, some received oil, others not. The oil we use is a Shell mineral oil, there could be a light residue left inside on some that had been filled. A design change on the equipment these were destined for that required different heat exchangers. About 20 are available at post time.

The smaller ones are a 2" diameter Cu/Ni device with 1/2" NPT fittings for both water and oil. There is a drain plug for the water chamber, and a spot for pencil zincs at both ends. The overall length is around 19" This is a single pass type device. The manufacturer is SenDure of Fort Lauderdale

Price is very reasonable at $95 each.

#2 - The second coolers are 3" diameter and around 23" long. All are new. They are also 100% Cu/Ni (cupronickel) construction, have both drain and pencil zincs installed. This is a two-pass design set up for 1/2" NPT fittings for both oil and water. Three of these were installed but never used, the balance are still setting in the OEM boxes. These were built by SeaKamp of Seattle. About 20 are available at post time.

Price is very reasonable at $160 each.

The existing cooler does double duty, engine oil and transmission fluid. The waterpump has to suck water a pretty good distance... probably around 8' of hose from start to finish. I could re-plumb the second thru-hull (V-drive and shaft log) water to enter the oil cooler first and clean up my routings at the same time. What do you think about this? Good idea or bad? The setup I've got now works and has worked for years. Just thinking there might be room for improvement.

Jeff, if everything's working then the only reason I would see to add a cooler would be to sanitize your install. If you do that I'd use the new cooler for the trans and the old cooler for the engine because I'm just guessing it has a water passage of greater than 1/2" NPT size. Let me know how we can help. Sounds like good advice. I was thinking I could clean up the hose routing and at the same time possibly get some more heat into the oil. Arrowhead's surface temp stays in the low 70's and that means the engine oil stays very cool. In spring and fall the water temp is in the 50's and building heat then is all but impossible with the current setup. I installed an oil temp gauge last year and the needle rarely moves... even after 5-10 minutes of WOT running. It registers but it's pretty low.

What's a good time to place the order?

Jeff, adding an oil cooler and reducing the heat load on the one cooler you have isn't going to "increase" oil temp, unless I'm missing something. Conversely it would cool more effectively. I'd remove the oil cooler from the engine circuit altogether and test the oil temperature. If your oil temp isn't climbing above 240-250 on hard use, you are golden. Average cruising would be less than that obviously.

My thinking was with this cooler I could limit the water volume flowing through the cooler to better control the oil temp. With my current oil cooler plumbing if I limit water flow to the cooler I will also limit flow to the rest of the engine... which I don't want to do. I can maintain a nice engine temp via the 4-port thermostat housing I purchased from you a couple of years ago. It would be easy enough to bypass the cooler using a male/male fitting and then check the temps.

I didn't realize you had the thermo on it. I would maintain that unless you have actually checked it without a cooler with an oil temp gauge you really don't know where you're at... meaning if you're not pushing 240-250 running hard you really don't need an oil cooler and may be going through a lot of work for nothing... just a thought.

I installed the thermostat because the engine temp was too low when running on Arrowhead. I still think the oil is a little too cool when running on Arrowhead. At the river I can run a nice consistent 50mph and get the oil good and warm. On Arrowhead if I do 50 for anything more than a short burst I'll get pulled over.

Plumbed a little differently with a new cooler I could increase or decrease the water flow through the oil cooler to maintain the correct engine oil temp at both Arrowhead and Parker. I already have to swap carbs and props for the two different locations... so having to "adjust" the oil coolers ability to withdraw heat is something I've been thinking about for a while. The price of the cooler is what really caught my eye. I have no idea how old my cooler is (came with the boat) and I've heard a few horror stories about failing coolers that start mixing oil and water. I priced out a new cooler a year or two ago and it was $500 bucks.

Jeff I think given that info you are on the right track as long as water flow to the engine isn't impeded. I'd still be interested to see an oil temp reading from Parker without a cooler just to establish you definitely need one or not, before you go to all the trouble of installing one that you perhaps don't need (unless you have that reading already).

This is a pair of NEW Dana Marine Swim Steps, non-rubber insert type. They are powder coated purple but the paint is peeling and chipped and they will need to be stripped and re-coated by the buyer. They can be stripped easily with premium paint stripper from Home Depot, takes a couple hours for the powder coat to completely release.

I'm selling these cheap due to the recoating being necessary. Normal price on this set of steps is $570.00

Steps measure 23" wide at transom tapering to 20" x 12" deep, with 12 degree brackets included. No attaching hardware is included.

This is a brand NEW set of Mercury K-Planes. This is a size Mercury no longer makes. It has been on our boat show display on and off for years, never installed on a boat at all. All parts listed are included and new. One pump and Plane was operated on the display but for very brief periods, probably less than 1/2 hour use total over time.

These K-Planes are smaller size than available now from Mercury. They work great on smaller boats in the 20 foot class up to high 20's. Planes measure 12" long from transom, are 12" wide at the end, and 14" wide at the transom.

Water Pump - Fuel Pump Extension, 6" long for cam driven pump. This part has a 4-bolt threaded pattern on the outside end, appears to have had a Neovane or Magnaflow Water pump attached. It has a 3 bolt pattern on the timing cover end, appears to be a fuel pump pattern to the cover. These 3 holes are thru holes, not threaded. It is the casting only, no pump drive. It may be an old Weiand blower part casting, no name on it but that's what it looks like. It is polished finish but is dull and needs touch up.

Polished aluminum Timing Cover for 354-392 Hemi. Undetermined brand (no name on cover). Cover appears to have been installed on an engine but shows no sign of being run. (clean other than gasket sealer remnants). Slight surface scratches and mars. Will need repolishing to be pristine, but there are not deep scratches and cover is very shiny. Cam cover plate bolts on with 5 allen head bolts. Cover is at least 3/4" thick under the cover with about a 2" open hole in center. One could easily fabricate a custom cam driven water or fuel pump setup out of this cover.

Neovane Marine Water Pump with Front Cover for Big Block Chevy, Lines, drive - $275, This is SOLD

A new Magnaflow pump is $400 give or take and a new cover is over $100 so this is a pretty good deal if you don't need magnaflow's volume (or 3/4" Magnaflow volume).

This is a V755-3 pump that has the stock Neovane divider mounted to the top. It includes stainless braided lines and a Glenwood Timing Cover with cam drive that fits big block Chevy Mark 4 engines. The assembly is in good used condition.

The timing cover has corrosion around the water fittings on the back side. This is a common problem with these covers and is easily repaired by welding and sanding around the corroded fitting area. If you don't want the cover I'll knock $50 off the price.

This is a pair of the rare Edelbrock M2-4 large log style exhaust manifolds for Big Block Chevy396-454.

These are in excellent used condition. They have minor scratches but could easily be repolished back to pristine condition by a polishing shop. Flanges on these are the large 5" OD. Originally these came with 3 mounting studs, this set has been converted to the more common 4 stud mounting. If someone desired a different stud indexing simply unscrew the studs, epoxy or silicone the holes up and drill and tap desired bolt pattern. I will install brand new studs in these before shipping and surface all old gasket material off the ends. I will throw in a brand new set of wire impregnated round exhaust gaskets as well (our part# 470103).

This is a pair of the rare design water-through-the-flange log style exhaust manifolds for Big Block Chevy along with the large snail risers typically seen in jet applications. These particular manifolds are no longer being made to my knowledge and were produced originally by Harman Marine or PFM. Similar in design to Gale Banks also. They are the only style of log exhaust manifold that will live in turbocharged applications because they have water cooling right up to the port, unlike the Glenwood, Nicson, and Hardin style manifolds. Obviously in a turbo application you would not use the jet boat style risers that are on these.

These are in excellent used condition. These risers will accept either 3 1/2" or 2 7/8" hose. The step can be cut off for greater flow using 3 1/2" hose if someone desired to. They are scratched up a little but not bad by used standards. They could easily be repolished back to pristine condition by a polishing shop.

Today's pricing on NEW Glenwood log manifolds is $700 and risers are just under $700 per pair. That is for Glenwoods that do not have water through the flanges. So with that in mind this is a great value for a good solid set of used manifolds and risers.

I have multiple Neovane V-755 cam driven pumps for sale, $155 each.

I have checked these myself and bearings are smooth. All will be shipped with brand new impeller installed which are normally mid $30 range if purchased.

Compared to the Magnaflow pump cost of $400+ its a good deal. Also the large Magnaflow is too much water for many flatties.

The V-755 is the 3/4" NPT model that accepts fittings. They will also accept the aftermarket dividers that were manufactured both by Nicson and Hallcraft. They won't accept the lay-down divider that was made by Neovane (without machining for it). Just some extra info as I know there's a lot of those aftermarket dividers laying around out there somewhere.

This is a Casale Split Case style 12? V-drive in good used condition. Gears are 12% overdriven. Shafts turn freely and smoothly. I have not opened this box up to inspect but see nothing that would lead me to believe it has any problems. I pulled the side cover to verify shift mechanism style and it is a 3 dog. Output shaft is 1" dia, input shaft is 1 1/4". It comes with the input flange that's on it as well as the v-drive braces. As with all used parts this sale is "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied.

The center plate was sawed for seat clearance and is very rough finish on the saw cut. I will supply any buyer with a brand new 3/8" center plate and gasket set for $220 additional. This would be a rectangular unfinished plate for the installer to shape to his/her liking. The vdrive does not have any shift handle on it and I can supply that also in either standard or locking configuration for additional cost. With new vdrives of this style running upwards of $3000 from Casale this used one is a great value.

This is a Casale Top-Loader style V-drive in good used condition. Gears are 3% overdriven. Shafts turn freely and smoothly. I have removed the top plate for visual inspection and see no signs of abnormal wear on the gears nor any metal shavings etc. Oil is in good clean condition although I advise buyer to drain and refill before use. The box has a new output shaft seal installed by me as it was seeping a little oil when I got it. I would bolt this box in a boat myself and run it as I see nothing wrong with it. That said, as with all used parts this sale is "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied.

VDrive comes with complete stock cast Casale mounting cradle as pictured. With new split case vdrive prices in the $2500-4000 range this is a great value for use in an older boat that isn't running big horsepower.

This is a set of Front and Rear Motor Mounts made by Edelbrock for a Big Block Chevy. These are vintage parts no longer produced. What's unique here is that they are brand new, never bolted on an engine. They have been sitting and the polishing could use touch up by buyer to look pristine. There are some surface scratches on the rear plate just from moving them around over the years. They are being sold as a set and I will not split them up. There are no mounting feet supplied with them. Width is 26" and the foot area can be trimmed by installer to narrower stringer width. The front mount/cover accepts a 4-bolt cam driven water pump such as Neovane or Magnaflow. No pump is included with the mounts. What you see is what you get. I do have used Neovane pumps available separately and new Magnaflows when they are available.
