Problem appears to be an anchor point for where the sheer walls meet on the new floor. It's missing.
Keep in mind the city will make mistakes to. Some inspectors just make things worse.
This is what I just dont understand...
Apparently the inspector caught this. My GC said he noticed it when he first looked at the plans, and mentioned it to the arcitect. (this was a couple of months ago).
Also, as you mentioned, the city inspected and APPROVED all the plans! Shouldnt they have caught this then??? Not to mention the arcitects enginer, who now has to sign off on the new footing that needs to be set?!?
So now peeps are gonna have to come back to get this footing put where it belongs, and the arcitect and engineer have to make sure its where it belongs.
AND I GOTTA PAY FOR ALL THIS?????
As far as im concerned, that aint gonna happen. Who should be responsible here?
