The stock ones are "balloon" tires.. They great for cruising around becuase you notice less little rocks etc (they absorb). When you go to a more low profile tire (squared off quad tire) you'll notice more of the little rocks, but the handling of the quad becomes entirely different. I like these tires that are on it now, but I think I liked the Cepek spyder tracks I had on the rear last time a little more. Overall though I think it improved it from stock, quad tires are cheap enough that if you don't like them, you get rid of em and buy new ones.

He's heading to the river house right now. He will give it a try out on Friday sometime. I'll be there Friday evening. I'll give ya a report on the quad after the weekend.
