I have 2 old 12 inch PPI flat piston subs. Was thinking about doing something with them. they were the shit years ago. was wondering if they are still nice compared to todays stuff?

If they are the Pro 12's then yes. The PC 12's were also flat piston but not that great. The PPI Pro 124 was one of the best sounding subs of all time. Very accurate.

On the Pro's, the magnet is almost the diameter of the sub. The PC models had a much smaller magnet.

Also the Pro's had "Made in USA" stamped all over it.
