I went fishing up in the Sierras this last week. I got a moose roast from a friend who went to British Columbia this last fall and bagged both an elk and a moose on a guided hunt. I put the roast in the crockpot this morning along with the usual roast stuff, potatos, carrots, onion, garlic and some seasonings. Been cooking now for about 7 hours. I think it will be good. Not like I have a chance for a do over anytime soon.
