Bluewater trim guage question

I have the Bluewater Performance Trim Guage on my boat, I noticed yesterday that it was sticking sometimes. I know the trim is working correctly but the indicator sticks. When it happens if I trim the other way then back it works. I would guess it's sticking. Where should I begin to look, grease, inspect, change or just throw money at it till the problem goes away. I would say to shoot some lube up inside the housing on the drive where the measurement rod goes in for starters.

Replace the Morse Trim Cable. That will fix it as they get water in them as they do not use the rubber seal therefore they get water in between the cable and the casing and then corode and stick.;)
