Who rigged it?

The rigging is very unconventional! I love it! I especially like the steering on the external rudder..
I'm a little curious as to how well the Cav plates are going to work being setup horizontal like that. Seems like there wouldn't be much water contact? Which could be a good thing or a bad thing?
Welcome to the board by the way. ;) When you bringing to Parker?

I knew who ya are.. ;) I remember when you bought the Hull from Johnny. :)
I'm assuming you looked on E-bay? Another thing that works pretty good, is go onto the spam section here, and on www.performanceboats.com and do a "reverse spam - looking for _____ " thread.. sometimes that works out for more specific parts.
Vee Driven was selling some CMI's awhile back, but I think someone snatched them already?

So how do the plates work? Can you bury the nose like a traditional setup? Or is it more like standard trim tabs? With them being flat does it help to stabilize any chine walking etc?

Looks great. Are we going to see this thing in the water again anytime soon or is it going to be like Joe's Schiada..... TRAILER QUEEN? ;) :D

As far as the plates go they work really good they push the bow way down and come up far enough to let the boat free up ,they work perfect as far as i can see .I am going to change they prop as see if that changes anything.
As far as when it will be back on the water I broke my back and had a back operation on aug 5th so not sure when ill be back in it

What kind of #'s did you end up getting out of it? Or was the shake down weekend the only time it was in the water?

hey nice boat. how well does the outboard steer work compared to under the hull. I know there is no such thing as a small fall. at our age it hurts like a mo fo and the smallest blood we freak.

WTO, Thanks for the comps.
As for the steering it works great its really stable even with the plates up,and even when the boats out of the water the rudder is still in most of the time .I think 420HOA may have seen it out of the water one rough day then again i think he saw the whole bottom of the boat .
