Great to see my pop back behind the wheel of a "REAL" boat again.

We have a list of to do's for the winter to get her ship shape for next summer.

Great pics. Congrats on the purchase of a very clean Spectra. The time with your family on it will be priceless. I grew up like many here in a river family. My parents raised my sisters and I on Lake Mohave and our first boat was a 1977 22 Schiada with a 351 Ford and volvo I/O. After a few years Dad sold that boat and bought a brand new 1980 22 Schiada with a 454 and Merc I/O. I was 6 months old when my parents first took me to the lake.

After a few years owning a Hallet jet in my 20's I now have a 1974 22 Schiada V-drive and enjoy boating with my wife and daughter on Lake Mead and guess who we boat with? My parents in their 1980 Schiada-the same boat I grew up skiing behind.

Enjoy the Spectra. Boating is such a great thing for the family.

Getting back into performance boating after a 4 year break feels GREAT!!

Started our "Mild Restore" yesturday. Having my pop, my boys, & myself working on the project together is awsome. Seeing my 6 y/o jump into the project, turning wrenches & getting his hands dirty was a proud moment!!
