I hope the market comes back for you soon there Michele. I was doing a title search on my old house a week or so ago. Seems the person who bought it from me finally sold it. Kind of feel bad for him. Fortunately for him he bought it in cash.

Purchased by me (brand new) in 07/2004 for $239,000

Sold by me (furnished) in 02/2006 for $330,000

Sold again 08/2007 for $287,500.

OUCH.

Hopefully things will start to pick back up soon.

I have noticed more activity in town this past month. Including a 998,000 home that sold in 15 days.

My personal home has been shown 2 times this past week, no offers yet but at least we are seeing some activity.

It always comes back.

I feel you on the Hot Boat thing. I did get quite a bit of business out of some loan brokers over there. Fortunately, I have most of their contact info but there is always more business to be made.
