What is everyone using for a permanent anchor at echo? Not sure if a danforth or box anchor would work as a permanent anchor. We tried a box anchor and put three sand bags on top of it, but it still moves. I was thinking of 5 gallon buckets of concrete or an engine block.

What is your opinions or thoughts?

We use a big ass flange with a chain and cable hooked to it. Hasn't moved since we set it a few years ago.

Took a big rubbermaid storage bin, hung a chain with a piece of re-bar through it then mixed three bags of cement, dropped it from our three person tube very carefully. Also 2 five gallon buckets with cement all chained together. Set it in dive gear on a 1' shelf in the mud...it no move. I can suit up in scuba gear I keep out there for you when it warms up a little. Free anchor chain checks for all neighbors too.
