Hello everybody,
i was a lurker over on hotboat. There was alot of great tech and basic information on that site. Did anybody save Holorinhal's post of rebuilding his boat, that was an incredible thread.
A little about myself,
I started boating at havasu around 1985/1986 with my family. My dad bought our first family boat with the winnings from a family trip to Vegas, i can still remember him talking about getting a boat on the way back:).
It was a 17' bayliner with a 85 horse outboard.......wasnt the coolest boat but what did we know or care, we were river newbies, it was fun.
We were introduced to Havasu by a family friend who has been going there since the 60's.
Since our fist trip the boats got bigger and faster, for my dad anyways. I bought a 21' 1968 Schiada jetboat daycruiser a couple years ago. The Schiada's have been my all time favorite boat. Ever since i laid eyes on one on our first river trip. But the jetboat version is the only version i can afford:D, i think.......or will find out.......cuz i blew the olds motor, on the last river trip in september/october, so thats the current status of my boat:(.
I got married 2 years ago and now have a 10 month old son, hes awesome!! i will post a pic of the boat and wife if its not too difficult. I have a very thick skin and enjoy a good joke, but please leave the wife and kid out of any jokes or stabs, and i will return the favor. So thats my story.
oh ya thats me, Mark and the wife, Naomi up front, my good friend, Denny and his girlfriend, Denise in the back.
