To be honest, I haven't even checked into licensing CP. I've heard (right or wrong) that Scotten does whatever he wants to do, and if people don't like it.... tough. If someone else has the intellectual rights to CP, I'd like to know so I can contact them, though.

Rooooooost! Glad to see you're alive. After HB shut down I was afraid that I'd never get to buy a decal again if I needed one... My brother keeps trying to steal my spare... :swear

Do you think you could make some Sidewinder decals? I know a bunch of guys on the Sidewinder site (http://www.sidewinder-boats.com/) would buy em right up...

I've been around, just lurking more than anything. Been surveying the current state of boating, and it's kinda sad.... doesn't have the real passion for the boats (and all around boating) it used to, just the "I'm a river racer" mindset. Maybe my new partner and I can help a little.
The "partner" I speak of is my oldest son Dana. My time is devoted to Vintage Rod Components, but with Dana stepping in to help reinvent Roostwear and lighten the load, I can devote some time to bringing it back up and teach him the ropes.
Marketing will be different than it was originally. The vinyl will be marketed through Ebay, not a stand alone website. Those of you that have websites and especially those with integrated E-commerce know just how much time this saves. We'll be offering "Buy it Now" in the future, but have to have 10 transactions on the account before we can do it, so as soon as we hit 10 it'll be even easier to buy.
As Zaairman pointed out, my marketing was flawed. The damn things DID last forever, and that impacted future sales! :hmm Don't worry, the products will remain the same we'll just need to reach more boaters through Ebay to make this effort worthwhile.
It left an empty feeing when I shut down Roostwear, I'm just hoping that with Dana coming in and the change in marketing, that it's
1) worth doing, &
2) we can revive some of the old Roostwear traditions
As far as new designs, it's on the radar and we'll add Sidewinder to the list, but it'll have to wait until things are setup and somewhat "normal".
Zaairman.... let your brother have the old one. You can order new ones again!

A couple of us looked into the CP logo behinds Bill's back. The "e"'s are a hard font to get.

Just call Bill, he'll pretty easy to get stickers from. :D
