What you need to do is rent one of those twin engine yamaha boats and return it with one less R1 engine. It would probably be rented out several more times before anyone noticed. :thumbsup

The further the setback, the higher the propshaft needs to be. You'd be better off figuring out a way to shorten the mid section. I don't feel that putting the motor further back would help. The boat doesn't need the added leverage of set back, they have plenty of bow lift. The power trim is good, but I'd lose the jack plate.
