I just picked up a 22 river cruiser after looking for months. Anyone have any suggestions on interior and motor while I have the boat apart? 509 wiht 871 blower (No intercooler) just picked up new CMI sport tubes.

Running 12-13 PSI on race gas only. 180-200 water temp when im on it 140-160 when im not. 2 fuel pumps, 2 fuel fulters, 2 oil filters, 1 huge oil cooler. More plumbing on the freekin motor than I would like. Also does anyone know of someone reasonable on redoing the floors in the motor bay? Thanks, Mike

Are you in the Keys? Saw you towing the boat last weekend and was going to flag you down to check it out but had already turned down Hopi. Nice!

-JustinI have never been to parker so I thought I was showing up for some big schiada event but I couldnt find anyone. I was stopping and asking people and they were looking at me like what? schiada? whats that? So I headed back up to Havasu for the day. I guess I was a day late.

I forget if I saw you on Saturday or Sunday. Yeah, we were all on the water on Saturday but ended up near Foxes as the original Bluewater plan was altered due to some jet ski racing. Next time I'll flag ya down!

Was that the boat in Chino Hills for sale?I looked at one just like that almost 2 years ago.

The buckets are huge because the guy it was built for was Gigantic. I am putting the buckets in out of my crashed 21. I am keeping the power the same but putting a 1071 with an intercooler on it and the CMI sport tubes. Interior will be all white with gray piping and yes it is the 22 that was for sale in Chino. It was like pulling teeth to get the guy to sell it to me. I had to promise him a week a year visiting rights. The full cav system instead of trim tabs works awesome.

Got any pictures of the transom? As well as the linkages inside to make the cav plates work with an I/O?

I just talked to Don today. I may wait till winter to do the masses of custom jobbies I want to do. Funny thing is when my 21 crashed the only thing left in the cockpit was the seat base that Don glassed in, it looked pretty funny. They do pretty nice work I am sure yours is awesome looking.

You might want to check out TRG fiberglass in Upland. Todd is a great guy and does very nice work also. Take a look at the floors in the K50 sometime.
Nice looking rig. I also know someone that can hook you up on the plumbing. :p

The boat hops like a jack rabbit. I think i need some driver training?? At about 65 the thing starts hopping bad. Even adjusting the trim and plates and under full power. Does anyone have a 22 IO with some power in it that can give me some lessons? It did it with a 24P prop and a brand new 26P both bravo 1's. Lee at Schiada said the thing did 95mph when it was first built but I cant seem to get it above 80 with the hop.
The boat got the following unpdates
All new interior
New vavle job
CMI tube headers
1071 Blower
Intercooler
New sub floor
I also need a good stereo guy. Dave you have a number for me?

The 4 blade prop may be causing to much stern lift causing that hop. My boat did the same when I put a 4 blade on it. Maybe try a 3 blade prop.

No I had to cut holes in my hatch! It is pretty funny ( I did it at 2am after I got the boat back from GT ) Since I was going to have some girls on the boat I needed the hatch so I wouldnt de scalp them with the blower. I did a pretty nasty job so I am getting a new back seat and hatch soon. Needed one anyways since the new intercooler is coming and will raise the blower 4 inches.
(DOES ANYONE HAVE A WHIPPLE LOW PRO INTERCOOLER FOR SALE??????)

Just noticed that. Let RD know if you he can have your old hatch. He wants to build one for his Spectra and it never hurts to have a nice hatch to look at when you start cutting the wood... Thanks.;)

I can give you the hatch when I get my new one! The imco powerflows might be sold with my motor out of my old 21' The guy that bought the spectra off me bought my other motor 509 blown deal and thinks the exhaust might work. I keep telling him the exhaust holes on the spectra are way way lower than my schiada so we will see if he buys them or goes with bassets or lightings. If he doesnt buy then Ill want 750 for them with tails.
Let me know if you know anyone that wants to finish this build. I will take a 3000 dollar loss on the parts if someone wants to finish.
604ci
Dart block
Dart Heads
Ohio Rotating assembly (Lunati Crank)
JE pistons
All machined and balanced
MSD ignition
Waiting for cam selection and induction
If not then I will sell my longblock in my boat and use this one instead
(1100 hp with my blower in my 22 will be sweet)
