Spectra 20's with I/O's

How do spectra 20's do with I/O's? How much HP does it take to push this boat to lets say 70 mph? The outdrive looks like it sits very low. Would a shorty lower unit help pick up a few mph?

Spectra 20 with the 260 I/O & 350 Merc went about 55 mph.
I would say the new a good running small block (383) 400 HP & Bravo should push this boat into the high 60's low 70's.

wow thats pretty good considering how much outdrive is in the water

I was seeing about 65 with a bravo and a 502. Granted that was with a 24p 4 blade. In the coming weeks ill be doing a lot of work to the bottom of the boat and trying a 3 Blade this season.
