These side mount boxes are machined out of structural angle. They are not a regular box with some bogus angle bolted on the bottom. We make them with the mounting pad facing up (behind the battery) or down (below the battery) for maximum flexibility in rigging different types of boats.

If these are well accepted I will likely build an end to end dual model. But frankly the end to end demand has been pretty weak compared to the side by side and the singles in the regular post design. Bottom line is it will be awhile if we do it given the season timing unless there's some out of pattern big demand for them. I need to build 50 for it to make any sense in terms of price.

Believe it or not I sketched the end design out on a scratch pad one night and went from there... :) We ended up with a couple pre-prototype designs I drew and this is the one that won the unanimous vote to build.
