I started a test one, but when I try to upload pics, it says there is an error. It could be on my part, I'm trying to use different size pics.............I am in the middle of cleaning my house so when I free up, I'll check my hard drive from more pics...

You have an "error" when you try to upload pics to the blog? Hit up Forensic about it so he can see what's what..

It might be that the pictures are too big, but I think it's supposed to auto resize them to within limitations?

Have you tried to upload a picture into a thread yet?

When uploading pix like say from photobucket, they'll be too many Htpp//, so try eliminating the "htpp" from the bubble first, then right click in your properties.

Just uploaded about 20 pics of the weekend in about 2 minutes.. :)

Way easier then uploading them one at a time the old way..

The pictures need to be less than 300k in size.

This is a good tool for resizing pictures after they come off a camera. Most of the times the camera takes pictures that are 3-5 MB.

If it were me.. I would resize them to 640x480 or 800x600 depending on the detail level of the picture. Some shots you just want bigger but both are good for posting to the boards.

I use Adobe Photoshop for most of my resizing. I don't know if elements has the "save for web" option. But that is what I use, it takes a 5 MB photo down to 150k.

The utility I posted above is good and wont change the original picture.

O.k I finally got a picture to upload, but it wasn't of the boat. For those of you who are new, when you look under a person's avitar on their posts, there is a place that says blog entries and a number.........click on the number and check them out!!!
