nope. you get what the v6 will put out:thumbsup

there will probably be a little loss due to the lift, but it still has some good pull

Not quite $5k but $7300 will get it done. But mine is a 5.4 V8 short bed though. Check her out! (http://www.riverdavesplace.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1291) It is a very reliable truck though.

I second that. I had the same setup and the V6 is a pretty stout motor. Even towed the boat/Toy Hauler a few times.

1998 f-150 white/bare bones longbed, auto, v-6, only 60k on it (was my
employers company pickup for the secretary to run errands in, and some-
times the guys used it to pick up robots from customers. I've had it for
about 1 year and need a crew cab.

best part: 2500 bucks and it's yours. ain't a beauty, scratches and a few
dents but nothing major. clean papers. completely new brakes 3 mos ago,
all filters changed, truck serviced regularly.
