I have just completed our new Billet Steering Posts for Calgo Steering Systems. We make them in a 6" long model and a 9". The cast units Calgo used to supply were pretty bad casting quality then the 9" became un-available.

Below is a just a real quick temporary picture of them both so you get an idea of what they are.

Calgo Steering is a pretty well kept secret but is one of the nicest "high Performance" steering systems for vdrives or jets. It features dual opposing sheathed cables, a fabricated helm assembly etc. It is a very positive (no slop) system which is real nice to have approaching 100 mph and above. We handle all the Calgo products. Just shoot me a PM for any pricing or answers to questions.

Those look great Mike!!

On the subject of steering, I'll be ordering an extended column and another Impy wheel from ya for the Schiada here pretty quick. Need to make sure exactly what it is I want before I order.

Mike,

The Cole I just started has what I thought was Calgo steering, but isn't sheathed cables... It has opposing cables that go through a series of pullies, and are "cranked" by a gear with a chain on the back side of the helm system that pulls them left and right.

You carry that chain? Mine is a little rough...

Wes you likely have just normal flatbottom style chain and cable steering. Does it look like bicycle chain? If so yes I should have it along with all related pieces.

Thanks Tom.

I'm going to offer these for sale raw also so anyone can engrave any of that ugly shit they like on them... :)

Yes. And the pieces are similar, but not exact. I will have to get with you to get some new cable, chain and figure out how to loom it all.

Thanks Mike! Good to see someone supporting the need for this stuff.
