As much as I'd like to have a completely "drama" free site, I realize people don't get along, and it's a matter of time before something happens. Keep it to friendly ribbing and you'll get no problems from me. When it crosses that line from "funny" to "angry" is the only time I'll ever get involved.

The problem with RD's policy is that it's completely arbitrary.

For example, I can post better than the vast majority of people when I'm at an infraction level of 14, while some people can't post worth shit when they're at infraction level 0.

By angry I meant "I'm driving across the US to burn down your trailer!! :mad:" angry.. Or threatening "I'm coming to Canada to stomp your ass!" angry.. ;)

You know the way things work Tom, and how I am.. I'd let a good battle go pretty much to the bitter end if it comes right down to it. :D

What I don't want though is "Hotboat II" over here.. What would be the point of that? We already have hotboat. I'd just like to (in awhile as the site grows) develop the place to be more "quality" over "quantity" in nature.

There were a couple of times in the last while where I threw down a pretty severe slam on someone in the HotBoat Sandbar and the next thing I know, I'm getting PM from them telling me they thought it was funny and thanking me for the post. It's getting increasingly difficult to piss people off anymore.

Actually I was just going to talk to someone about whipping up a cool logo that says

"RiverCustoms.com" shirt and stickers.

I registered that domain to point at this site as well.

When things settle down, and we start focussing more on the "quality" vs "quantity" in theory I'm going to talk to some guys about throwing up some good builds in that section of the board, and then have that domain name point straight there.

I have been out of the loop for a while. I had NO idea Tom had left the building until I asked JBB last night. I did not know about Topless and her vacation. I am pretty much clueless as to the behind the scenes stuff. I still do not know the reasons nor do I really care.

Being a moderator is a thankless job (unless your that fucknutt over on PerfBoatsMag, who uses his position to further HHis own interest's) an one I doubt most of us would want. It seems to me a "MOD" has to be as fair as they can be in dispensing "justice", making sure they do not play favorites to their pals. (unless your that fucknutt over on PerfBoatsMag, who uses his position to further HHis own interest's) Sadly one makes decisions and these choices have consequences. In this case we've lost Tom Brown.

Tom is as quick witted as anyone I have ever met and I hang around with some witty fuckers!. He is generous to a fault and I call him a friend. It would be nice if we could all just pick up our shovels, get back to playing in the sandbox together (unless your that fucknutt over on PerfBoatsMag, who uses his position to further HHis own interest's) and maybe someday this will just be one of those times we laugh about but, who knows.

I am sorry Topper was put out to pasture, sorry (but respect) Tom who left to show some solidarity and hold her mane. In the grand sceem of things "this ain't no big deal" and we will get through it.

Now, to answer your question....

I often go back to the "last page" in a forum and "bump" a thread to the top for historical value. Just so happened I was thinking about Brown (again, before I knew) and bump this thread.

He could have had 100 infractions and it wouldn't have mattered.

I believe he said he may be back after a while. He's just not "feeling" the forums lately as a result of what happened. His friend was banned and he's upset over it too. Those are signs of a "good friend" right there. Personally I hope he finds it in himself to over come it. I think he brought a lot of life to this place. :thumbsup
