I'll have some new stuff in the next couple days, all the new transom hardware for Mead's boat.

Other than that i've spent the last week screwing with off road cars on the Dyno next door, and one of Herbst's sand rails trying to isolate EFI issues with Dave.

It looks like the son of frankenstein right now, we had to strip all sorts of wiring out of it (I'd like to find out wired it in the first place so i can slap them and then give them The Beginners Manual to 12v DC Wiring), drop the floor pan, pull all the seats, dash and center console, and the old EFI system and harness (which never f'n worked and whos brand will remain un-named, even after sending it back to the mfg with the complete harness and box for 'Bench Testing') and quickly hooked up an Autronic and got it on the Dyno and dialed. Now dave has to clean up all the wiring and put it together so we can road tune it tonight.

I'll hook up pictures when it looks halfway respectable :p

Here ya go RD, my buddy Dave Heffel was given 4 days to completely gut the old EFI system and replace it with his autronic, as well as work through some of the wiring issues, and get it Dyno and road tuned. The thing has a Shaver built low boost blown LS1 it sounds mean as FOCK, and accellerated so hard on the dyno it blew our minds, we couldnt keep traction with the big tires so we couldnt get full HP numbers out of it. it's gotta be near 400 to the wheels. Normal LS1's in these cars put out 280 to the wheels.


It had a proprietary digital dash in it that was hooked to the old ECU, so i quickly whipped out and installed a gauge panel and tach mount on the waterjet, no time for the polisher, the car is outa here tonight.

Check again I think that was an Alumicraft frame that Johnny put together then Big John took it to SEMA and the Herbst bought it from them then or right after Big John died.

Dale Dondell has the Racer sand cars...

Is that an Alumicraft? Looks like a Racer car with the billet frontend from Tatum on it...

It does have the tatum kit on it, Tatum sells them as a parts package for fabricators to put on their own cars.

Jesse told me it's a Dondell, it's been sitting around for about 5 years now. First couple years it sat up here in the hangar then it was out at primm in the casino for the last couple.

Shane, I`m lookin for a nice alternater bracket for the 21. Can`t mount it low on pass. side cause of oil cooler. Maybe above the waterpump. You know the layout, what you got bratha.

Just about anything you can dream up, the only picture i have is of one on a mockup block with no alternator attached.

Beautiful job on that boat, was that Paul`s boat. I think I remember Carson doin that motor. The mount might work but I was thinkin something a little higher and to the middle. Have you done any like that?

You can place that same mount anywhere you wan't on the motor plate as long as all 3 bolts and stand-off shafts fit.

I may have but that looks like an Alumicraft and I know they bought Kaiser's and painted it...so it could have been :D

Yea it is...Big John was taking it to Glamis when he was killed...the trailer went over and there almost zero damage to the car.
