Looking to buy a boat & need some feedback.
Essex Velor open bow walk thru or Shockwave Tremor cuddy open bow walk under

Questions if you own a boat with a cuddy section:
- Do you utilize the cuddy section?
- Does your party feel its separated when on boat?
- If a walk under, how much of it is a pain to go from back to front after a few cocktails?
- If you could do over, would you buy a boat without the cuddy walk under & get just a straight walk thru?

Any thoughts on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a brother in law that is loaded,, but a real cheapskate.

For some reason, he'll always take my family here when we're Las Vegas town to,, in his own words; "buy us dinner.".

But get this,, when the bill comes he flips me a $50 with lot's of drama,, and my wife and I end up picking up the rest of the tab (usually $150), even though he invited us "on him" and on top all that,, we pick up the full tab when we treat him at the Beliago Buffet.

I know,, I know,, ya can't pick you relatives,, and peace in the family is priceless,, so I roll with the hand dealt me.

My mom being Italian, and eating in Italian restaurants all my life,,, I really think Italian restaurants should be noisy and off the hook.
Baby's should be passed around the table,,, wine should be flowing, way too much food of all kinds, small children conversing with your parents,,, the full route.

Buca di Beppo gives you this.

Just recently,, when on our last visit my brother in law took us to "treat" us to dinner, someone tipped the Bucca di Beppo manager $1000.
So the manager opened the bar and it was free drinks for all until his $1 grand ran out.
Pretty cool if ya think about it.

As the manager announced it, he was busting out the Crown and Jack.
He knew what was coming.

But get this, my cheap-o brother in law has no vices what-so-ever.
Doesn't drink,, only sees women he doesn't have to spend money on,,, but he pulls it off though probably never gets laid,, but worse, missed out on the comp bar in spite,, oh well.. his loss.

The food is ok,, but I always long for a really rich, tasty, Italian spice laden pasta sauce and Buca di Beppo almost,, just barely gives you this.

Huge portions,, usually they'll feed 4 to 6 people, so hold that thought.

The locations were known for the "table in the kitchen" where your party could be seated amongst the help.
Now-a-days, the Clark County Health Brownshirts (bless their hearts, they are looking after us) won't have it.
So at the Nevada locations they kinda fake it with one with big window into the kitchen next to one table instead.
Ya kinda get the feel,, kinda.

The portions are big,, the quality OK,, service always good,, but they charge you for every little thing, it adds up,, and it's pricey:

Ya want some extra sauce on that spaghetti,,, $5,,, ya want more bread,,, $5,, another blast of salad dressing,,,, what the hey $5,, sis needs a few more cherries in that Shirley Temple, why not,, $5,, Olive oil and Balsamic to dip your bread in,, sure,, $5.

We got it back at the comp bar though.

Acai Berry Diet Supplements

The purchase of a nutritional supplement acai berry is easy online. Situated in a number of sites. How do you know which brand to get? If you are in the market for an acai product that they want to go with the best for not only your health but also your budget. Take a look at this short article about the acai berry supplements and get a better idea of what to do.

One of the first things you should look for is the activity. The FDA does not require that supplements a dose amount of data that are classified as supplements yet. The key word is yet, because the FDA is longing to hold more market supplements. If you find a product Acai berry showing activity or dose of active ingredients, you will find this to be honest business. From the other side if you look at the label and have no idea how much acai berry contained in the bottle or pill, you may want to look elsewhere.

If freshness can be measured, it would be another point to consider. Antioxidants in acai berries lose their power in a short time after being separated from the tree. The fresher the berry, the more antioxidant level would get when you digest it. Pills will naturally have less than a level of antioxidant juice or other forms, such as mashed potatoes. If you can get the juice mixed berry puree as it is very beneficial to do. If the bottle (and any form) of the acai berry has a date, you should consider more than one bottle of juice is not one.

One of the last things to look for in a supplement Acai berries is that they are mixed with. If you acai berry mixed with things that undermine or weaken his skills as a superfood try another product. There have been studies done on what weakens an acai berry when mixed with other things. Nevertheless, things like cooking the berry, mixing it with ice cream and other activities are sure to change the power of berries. The heat of cooking will get too many opportunities for health foods, including fruits. Be careful what you mix with acai and how to deal with. It can allow you to get more use from filling your diet and that will mean using less product. This will save you money in the long term and that will make you happy.

Last summer, returning from Kelowna, we decided to take a tour through Radium Hot Springs and Yoho National Park. When we turned south off the Trans Canada highway at Golden, fuel was running at Blythe prices. Not wanting to be ripped off, we just kept going. A third of a tank is plenty of fuel.

Highway 95 goes a long way south. Worse still, there's nothing on it. The "last chance" fuel prices at Golden started to make sense when the low fuel light came on and we couldn't recall seeing civilization in the last 30 minutes. Surely we must be near something.

The fuel gauge in a Honda CR-V has wider segments on each end, like bookends. When you first turn the ignition on, the first segment lights before the computer figures out how much fuel is in the tank and displays it. The first segment is like a pilot light.

We were down to just the first segment which I wasn't sure ever went off when we came across a really crappy looking fuel station in the middle of nowhere. There was a lineup of a few dozen cars; odd but we were happy to be at a fuel stop so we could continue stress free.

The lineup wasn't moving very fast. After 20 minutes of chatting in the car, I went in to see what was up.

Power was out at the fuel station. No power. No pumping of gas. I asked when a repair was expected and he shrugged. It turned out, his phone was out too. A further revelation of the power having been out for 3 hours was like a drive by hit on our morale.

After carefully weighing our options, we decided to press on to Radium. It was the closest town likely to have fuel. The GPS was showing a distance of 45km. That's about 28 miles.

With bikes on the back, we could drive until the fuel ran out and I could bike into Radium to get fuel. It might be awkward carrying a gerrycan on a bike but it seemed possible.

Off we went.

I drove at 70~80 kph. No cruise. I'd slow down going up hills and speed up going down. I wanted to get every block I could out of the tank.

About 2km from the powerless station, the bottom segment changed color. I had no idea it could do that.

We pressed on.

By the time we got within 20km, I knew I could bike it with little trouble. That's 40km round trip; long but doable.

I shared my relief with my girlfriend. "I can bike from here and be back in a few hours."

That's when she said something amazing. "I'm confident we're going to make it. I have a feeling."

WTF? There was just no way. I said nothing but found the comment annoying.

The stress eased with every kilometer. When we pulled into Radium, you could have knocked me over with a feather. Amazing. The lineup at the fuel station was down the block but that was no longer relevant. I pulled in and turned the ignition off.

We made it to the pump. The car was sputtering like RiverDave after Weekend de Drinkin' but we did it. When I turned the key off for the final time beside the pump, the car had already stalled.

The price seemed a little high but I figured I'd go ahead and fill, anyway.

From there, I was so elated at making it, we drove ahead three buildings and pulled into a Mexican restaurant. We had some amazing food on a patio with a terrific view of the mountains.

It was one of those moments that has stayed with me.

We just returned from Radium about an hour ago. We're in Calgary now. Before we left Radium, we drove by the fuel station and the restaurant. It brought back some pretty amazing feelings from last summer.

What happens when we get older to make memories more important? Is it the subconscious' way of imortalizing our past as our future becomes increasingly mortal? I wonder.

I have an awesome electric golf cart. It was built custom from the ground up. All new upgraded wiring, 15 hp industrial motor, lifted, nice chrome wheels, custom one of a kind paint job by Dennis Wells. Dennis Wells does most of the custom painting for S.D. Harley Davidson. Cart looks great and runs even better. I moved out of Hidden Shores and have no use for the cart now. Top speed on the cart is approximately 45 miles per hr. It hauls booty. As a friend of mine once stated after driving it was "That was spectacular" I have over $10,000.00 invested in it and it needs batteries right now. I will take $4000.00 for it and guarantee it will run perfectly with new batteries.

When I was a kid, my mom bounced back and forth between aircraft contracts with a local aerospace firm, and Disney Studios feature length and shorts cinema projects.

A miracle that she was able to synchronize one job with the layoff of another and then back again and again.

I'll get back to miracles.

She tired of that, got her Masters in Psychology, had a family counseling office to the stars, and wrote psychology textbooks.

If I learned anything from my mom, it was perseverance and the power of positive thinking.

I'll get back to positive thinking.

Our child spent 100 days in the hospital, and 100 days out, then another 100 days in, so on and so fourth.

City of Hope Oncology hospital Campus has a full hookups RV park just steps from our childs hospital bed.
It helped having our RV right there,, the ordeal was so exhausting.
The Jose Cuervo campground BTW.

Famous people would visit the sick in the hospital in the middle of the night to avoid making a big scene with other visitors.

I'd sit out in front of our RV at night in a beach chair and the famous would sometimes stop and chat. Actually, I think they needed directions.
Janet Jackson,, with Beyonce, Jay Leno,,, NASCAR drivers, sports stars,,,, they knew we were distressed parents taking a break from the drama.
-But that's another thread for someplace else I guess.

Everything at City of Hope Cancer hospital has a sponsors name.
The Gibson meeting room,, the Fender Elevator,, the Smith and Wesson cafeteria, the Yamaha MRI center,, the Ed and Lulu Schmukatella bus stop bench,, etc.

My wife is a specialty oncology nurse at one of the big University Hospitals.
She has a magical presence like you rarely experience when someone enters a room. Her heart is really in the right place. Sharp in her skills, often doctors ask for their patients to be in her care. Out of 721 other nurses.

We can't go anyplace inthe USA and someone not walk up and talk to us that knows her through some serious cancer episode in their life or their families life.

Cardinal Roger Mahony,, Mayor Viaragosa,, Arnold,, humble missionary chaplains who by the way, have very tough jobs, thankless jobs helping the sick.

Even just walking through The Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas the drinks and comps start flowing our way. On the strength that so many know her.

Wifes deeply religious and often told me of miracles she witnessed at work.
Incredible stories.
She was my pillar of strength,, kept me focused on the power of positive thinking.

So 2 years and 7 months later, it's all behind us, our child tested clear of cancer,, and our life is resuming to a normal pulse once again.

Miracles really do happen, and the best way to miracles is positive thinking and perseverance.

He should be gone by sunrise.
Or maybe they just can't handle it.
Really sad.
