One month ago I was told you could not build a Nice Lake Tunnel Jet Hull for less then $6,500.00 So there for you could not sell it for $6,500.00 So I set out to see if I could. Well You can & I did! True I built my first one with some up grades Like 7 colors w/ pearls, Carbon Fiber floor & added Balsa Core as well. Now the truth is out & every hard working blue collor family can own a new 19' Cheyenn Tunnel Jet Hull for as little as $6,500.00 Heck you can get a jaw dropping Over the top hull for less then 9k! You can get a New matching powder coated tandom trailer with it & still be less
then most marine companies 11.3K for a one color no trailer so called good deal. So if you work hard for your money make them work hard to get it!

This right out of the mold, not bonded, floors are not flo-coated or prestec'd yet nor color sanded & buufed yet

Last pic Sat 2 / 28 / 2010
Taped & bonded & through in a couple seats I had out of one of my daytona's to show room in the cockpit..

Let's say I wanted to turn one of these into a complete turn-key boat with decent power. Cost-wise, what do you it would run, out the door?

Hi Maxwedge,

First, Thank you very much. It took me three tapings lol & @ $ 278.00 in tape because of it lol. That has to be the hardest part, picking colors & style of lines. Yes this one cost a few more $$$ then the $6,500.00 modle. But heck most companys would up-charge 2k alone to go from a standard gel job to one like this. Plus the carbon fiber floors that will be flo-coated & prestc'd will really make it stand out. Please pass the word along to all your friends that ever wanted a great tunnel, The guys that have come together to put these awesome hulls together just want to work & there love of boat building show's. Feel free to call if there's anything we can do for you. Many Thanks, Ron 1-951-681-0949

Great job Ron at a very good price.

Jim S

Thank You Jim S

I found these seats in my rafters, They even have burgandy piping & best of all the were free. So with a little hunting or with hand downs from other boats you could put one together resonably..

That would be great. Then a 21 fun deck? I have a 23' Tunnel very fast bottom, think they would move for $7,500 to $8,000 couple colors? Know any one looking for T Deck runner bottoms? Thanks for any imput you can give. Sincerely, Ron

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, so I'd have to pay someone to do the rigging...what would be a guesstimate for that?

Hey Gelcoater,
No I didn't do the gel, I have a gel coater who has worked for several of the big guys. I just helped with the taping lol thats why it took 3 times lmao. I couldn't find lines I liked. I could gel it if it was out of the mold but thats a much easyer job. Give me a call & stop by if your in the neiborhood. Thank for the words I'll pass them on to the gel-coater that turned out this awesome job. Many Thanks, Ron

Thank You BigBoyToys,
I hope lots get sold & get out on the water. They are a nice looking hull & will run very well on the lakes & river. It would be great to see them at the local events, gas stations, lake, river, drivin down the freeways ect.
Hey I think there is enough room on the top of the transom to gel coat " Big Boy Toy " on one for ya....

Thanks again, Ron

cost? complete less motor?:thumbsup

Hi Ryno22,

Thats hard to say, starting at $6,500 & a trailer purchesed at the same time $2,500 makes 9k hardware used or new?? pump new or used?? really can be done so many ways. I have seen hardware & interior packages on C.L. for @ $1,500 So if you go that way your around $10.5 to $11k less motor. with new hull & new trailer. Give me a call I have several clients that will rig with your parts or build new or do partial rigging what ever works to fit your target budget. Hope this helps. Many Thanks, Ron 1-951-681-0949

First, PGF457, killer looking boat! And I know this is the jet section and everybody here is a jet nut, but..... if you made those stringer "knees" a little taller at the transom you could offer this as a KILLER outboard hull as well. Just a little FYI to maybe open your potential clientele a little.

It would need a different bottom to work as an outboard correct? Not trying to start crap just asking

A step insert can be put in the bottom for the outboard with a wood or composite transom it will be another winner not a big deal.

Hi Flying Lavey,

Well some of us are not just jet nuts lol " PGF " Pro Gas Flat lol Some of us just love boats & all boats. Outboards? Yes Some work is needed due to the rounded keel & rocker pad ect. Here is one of our hulls that we cut the transom off Yes Thats correct lol Cut the transom OFF then changed it to 11 degree to put the surface drive on with counter rotating props. Yep this cool a** boat runs 105mph with a small block ford with a single carb & it runs it for 3 miles at a time. So if ya need a cool outboard hull let me know we'll build it & people will be speechless :drnkfr
