After building my 2015 28 SS 300XS and repowering it in February to 400s. I have decided to start a new project. Taking everything we learned and making it just a little bit better. Looking forward to the new project.
My boat is shipping to Florida to a friend so I will have a twin 400 Nordic on both coasts.

At a glance it will look nearly the same. The big change will come in the dash with large screens.

Nordic Bully 2 is on the way

Awesome! I really dig the Nordic 28ss!!

It’s a true drivers boat. Everything is right where it should be. And with a few modifications to the dashboard it’ll be just that much better.

I put 250 hours on my 2015. Between the two stroke and four stroke power. And I absolutely love it.

Carbon Kevlar has a heavy look to it. Solid.

Can you please explain what is going on in the back half with the deck and 2 IMCO tanks?

Stepped L shape tanks for an extra 15 gallons a side. 110 total
The back is a separate part of the mold for outboard application. Making for a larger cockpit.
What kind of range do you expect with full tanks?
Seems to me it would be quite far!

Is that the same tank locations on your current hull?

At a glance the 903 pod looked big. Once I sat in the boat with the steering wheel in place I saw how perfect it is. (covered in vinyl under the windshield) ALL INFORMATION DIRECTLY INFRONT OF THE DRIVER!! Just where you want it at high speed. And a 15” MFD screen to the left. Still keeping tachs and water pressure gauges where they were. Can’t wait to get it in the water.

Looks great!! What will this weigh once it's fully rigged? Will it be ready for Desert Storm?

Yes. I totally was in Nordic mode. They had a bunch of questions that I needed to answer. Talk about a truly custom boat builder. No it’s not in their vocabulary.

See what happens when you let a Pilot designed the dash. They completely turn it upside down! God I love it.

Everything exactly where you need it.

I’m am a huge fan of Garmin! All I fly with. However when I found out that the vessel view was made by Simrad and Mercury gave me the full demo at the Fort Lauderdale boat show on their interface ability. It was a nobrainer.
The large screen has ALL the 903 information and so much more.
It totally blew away anything Garmin can give you with a nema 2000 connection.

Paul, boat is coming out simply awesome, but I would expect no less! I am sure you are having a lot of fun working with Thane and John on this build. As you know I am not really into outboards but this build, and the performance of your old 28, has me considering the move someday.

You do the move you’ll never look back.

I just counted how many outboard motors I’ve bought over the years. 21 engines that I can remember.
