You can use one antenna for both tv's. You do need a converter box for the tube tv though. Just use a splitter to go from antenna to each tv.

This is correct you only need the antenna. The only time you need the converter box is for analog TV's. Most new flat screens have digital tuners already built into them. And yes you can use a splitter to go to more than one room.
