Went a few times in the late 80's .... it was great to see the top riders there like Rick Johnson and Jeff Ward among others. I think they were talking about it closing back then. It was always right before the 4th of July..
All the time from Beach Blvd in Whittier to Huntington Beach .... started in jr high school and until someone got their license. Met a lot of girl hitchhikers along that route too!
My first boat, a 1964 Rayson Craft sunk right out front of Foxes back in the 70’s …. Still get together with friends that were there that day! Whenever we’re at foxes we still have a toast for that old boat, it’s been going on for years … lol
Sorry to see that all coming to an end, never...
Oceanside is getting a wave pool .... it will be about a couple miles from the ocean right where our old drive-in theater was.

When the Titanic came out I thought who's going to go see that! ...... old story and the movie's already been done a few times! ... now its hard to believe someone hasn't seen it ...lol ... great movie!
Being in Havasu and riding desert roads has somewhat minimized the risk from our riding days in the San Diego area. My wife loves it … we’re retired (sort of) .. kids are grown, so why not!
Need to go back, it’s been a few years…… so much history in that place and the family, remember seeing William Hearst’s father George portrayed in Deadwood … a pretty ruthless character!
