Having never been, but read plenty about Parker on this site, the video gave a nice visual and was entertaining. I found myself wanting to hear more about the area and also looking forward to hearing about Roadrunner.
Great video, keep them coming.
Cool, I'm in Waterford and run Michigan Hot Boats, find it on FB. Yes, you should trim it so it doesn't hit (to my knowledge). Looks like the biting edge is above the keel line which is okay.
Where in Michigan are you located? Great progress on the boat.
As for the loader you should get is blasted and checked for cracks with dye. Most weld shops can do it or you can buy the three stage dye and do it yourself. I haven't seen one like that so I can't comment if it's good or not. Do...
I noticed your avatar and immediately thought of the movie Convoy, but also noted it was used on the Deathproof Nova. Saw this interview today and thought you might enjoy:

Yes, generally there is a gate valve on the water inlet to the engine off the suction housing. See that threaded hole at the bottom right of your pic? That's where a piece of tube screws in and then a gate valve is screwed on. Yes water outlet is usually out the exhaust at the snails/risers...
Any pics of the cracked housing? 3 point or 4 point engine mount?
Does it have a loader (ramp into the intake under the boat)? Or no grate on the intake?
Does it have a t-stat in the housing? Block might be full of sand.
The water valve was on the outlet hose? Weird, usually it's on the inlet...
Found this gem this morning...let's see tritoon plus jet drive = 100mph pontoon jet bote? I appreciate the craftsmanship, but a 1987 title would make assessing value and insurance difficult. Still, would be pretty dope to see this thing shooting a rooster tail heading down the river...
